I have been a songwriter for many years. I have performed my songs all over the country. I like to write spiritual songs, songs for other grievers, and songs for soldiers. Actually I like to write anything that might help and inspire others. When Covid was here, I couldn't go out and perform my songs, so I stayed home and wrote a book! The first book was "Bidu's Adventures" a fantasy book for 7-14 year olds. And I just finished an adult spiritual self-help book called "Becoming IN-lightened."
I have been very involved with the grief community, especially with parents who have lost children, as I have. I am also involved in the spiritual community sharing my spiritual music and my newest book!
And one of my greatest honors was being invited to Washington DC to sing "Thank You, Soldier", a song I wrote as a tribute to those who serve our country.
I have always had a creative side even when I was working in the healthcare industry, but my writing journey really became my full time passion after my daughter died. That's when I expressed all that I was feeling in my songs. I have 2 CD's that includes music for grievers. And I also have written 3 CD's with spiritual music that I hope lifts and comforts others.
